UVC Robot

Operating in a semiautomatic mode, the robot with inbuilt ultraviolet (UV) lights disinfects rooms and surfaces. With motion sensors, the system distinguishes humans from other visible objects to prevent damage to human health. The robot effectively destroys harmful microorganisms, causing the COVID-19 disease.

How UVC Robot works

The robot aims at preventing and reducing the spread of infectious and harmful microorganisms by destroying their DNA structure with UV lights. With a wavelength of 222- or 254-nanometers, the robot kills bacteria in public places, such as hospitals, office spaces, schools, airports, etc. UV Disinfection Robot is designed to aid your cleaning staff on a daily basis, while eliminating human error.

    Why UVC Robot by Altoros

    Traditional disinfection systems

    • The need for multiple UV lights scattered across the area to be sanitized.
    • Offer no intelligent control over energy efficiency.
    • People have to be isolated during disinfection, as the system is unable to switch off the UV light on demand.
    • Non-UV and static disinfection systems involve personnel resources, which may result in human error.
    • Disinfection requires the use of chemicals, causing environmental and health damage.
    • Inefficiently disinfect the area due to the inability to cover all spots.
    • Provides no reports with detailed information on disinfected areas.

    UV Disinfection Robot

    • UV lights are designed for a minimum life cycle of 30,000 hours, which equals to 3 years.
    • Dry and chemical-free disinfection.
    • Uses green cleaning methods that are environmentally friendly.
    • With a higher amount of energy per photon, UV lights effectively disinfect rooms and surfaces.
    • Ensures up to 1000x greater microorganism destruction.
    • Not affected by temperature changes or humidity.
    • Designs a route according to a digital map and automatically schedules disinfection.
    • Has a steered wheelbase that excludes the need to manually relocate the robot across multiple areas.
    • Gathers information on disinfection trips, battery level, as well as total operation time, and sends notifications to help you perform timely maintenance of system parts.
    • Remote start via an app.
    • Disinfection may be forcibly stopped via an emergency button.
    • Switches off the light when detecting motion to reduce possible impact on human health.
    • The employed UV lights produce ozone.
