We are looking for a candidate who will become a part of the global team building cloud-native systems and enabling digital transformation for Fortune 500 / Global 2000 customers.

💼About the role — What will you do?

The Account Executive is a client-facing role with the following primary responsibilities:

  • Business Development
    • Maintain, grow and develop positive relationships with existing accounts in conjunctions with Key Altoros Directors (Business Development, Field Delivery), Platform and Pre-Sales Architects to expand Altoros usage
    • Ensure project success and client satisfaction
    • Collaborate with clients to create and manage client expectations
    • Generate new business
    • Interact with Customer Platform Owners, Transformation Leads, Business Team Managers and other stakeholders to navigate and influence the digital transformation strategy at leading Altoros accounts
    • Drive the Altoros value proposition within assigned accounts
    • Maintain responsibility for the health of assigned accounts
    • Demonstrate sales performance within defined accounts
    • Assist in preparation of proposals, scoping documents, and SOWs
    • Develop effective account development strategies to maximize the value delivered by Altoros’s services
    • Tracking all efforts in Sugar CRM
    • Establish relationships with business and technical buyers and key project partners
    • Build a pre-sales pipeline
    • Support sales efforts by penetrating enterprise accounts through outbound prospecting skills
  • New Lead Generation
    • Prospecting for new business
    • Build a healthy supply of net new quality prospects
    • Drive new prospects through sales funnel until they convert in revenue-generating customers

Your typical tasks will be:

  • Strategically consult and work with existing accounts on Altoros Cloud-Native services
  • Search for new potential customers for Altoros Cloud-Native services

🔎Requirements — What are we looking for?

  • At least 2+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing roles, with a technology background working for public cloud providers, selling software development or cloud consulting.
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies and landscape
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Team player, self-motivated, well-organized, strong communicator, driven and committed
  • Able to work in an agile environment under tight deadlines
  • Must be open to traveling around the U.S. (40%) to visit and connect with clients

👨‍💻ABOUT THIS ROLE — WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The Cloud Solutions Architect (DevOps Engineer) will become a part of the global SWAT team delivering cloud-native platforms of the next generation to Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers.

You will be responsible for various aspects of deploying, integrating, optimizing, automating, and adopting Cloud Foundry — centric environments. By doing that you will help enterprises make a radical shift in a way they develop and deliver software. You will work side-by-side with some of the most experienced engineers in the Cloud Foundry ecosystem and for some of the most sophisticated customers.

You will be working on and off-site.

All successful candidates will be provided with Cloud Foundry training.

🔎REQUIREMENTS — WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical and client-facing role
  • Hands-on experience with any of the following IaaS platforms: AWS, OpenStack, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Platform
  • Understanding of Docker and its ecosystem
  • Profound knowledge of Linux/Unix
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle in the cloud
  • Knowledge of the key concepts of cloud-native architectures
  • Must be open to traveling around the U.S. Optional requirements:
  • Software development background (any scripting language)
  • Experience with Kubernetes or Mesos
  • Understanding of high availability, scalability, resilience, app performance, and security in the cloud.

Cloud-Native Software Architect

👨‍💻ABOUT THIS ROLE — WHAT WILL YOU DO?

We are looking for a candidate who will become a part of the global team building cloud-native systems and enabling digital transformation for Fortune 500 / Global 2000 customers. The Cloud-Native Software Architect is a client-facing role with the following primary responsibilities:

  • Guide enterprise-level customers through their cloud transformation journeys by sharing experience in designing distributed solutions using cloud-native platforms (Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes).
  • Work with customers on migrating existing applications to a cloud-native platform.
  • Mentor and train developers in building cloud-native applications based on scalable, portable, and resilient designs.

Your typical tasks will be:

  • Advise customers on the architectural aspects of cloud-based applications to reach high levels of performance, scalability, and security.
  • Roadmap development for migrating a monolithic application to micro-service architecture.
  • Review a platform used by a customer and suggest improvements in automation, CI/CD practices, security, and platform services.
  • Train the customer’s team (5-8 engineers) on how to work with a cloud-native platform. Delivered in the form of 2-day training.

We will provide training in:

  • Key concepts, principles and best practices for cloud-native app development
  • Migration to Cloud-Native Application Architectures
  • Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes platforms for cloud-native development

🔎REQUIREMENTS — WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Expert-level experience as Java developer and Architect positions
  • 3–5 years of experience in a client-facing role desired
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience working with Spring and SpringBoot.
  • Experience in building and operating distributed, concurrent systems
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with any of the following IaaS platforms: AWS, OpenStack, Microsoft Azure, or Google Compute Engine
  • Familiarity with design patterns, domain-driven design, component-based architecture, and evolutionary architecture
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud-native architecture concepts, understanding of high availability, scalability, resilience, performance, and security requirements in the cloud
