During the call, he noted that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/troy-topnik-662784\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Troy Topnik<\/a> was nominated and approved as the new PMC lead for <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/cloudfoundry-incubator\/cf-extensions\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">CF Extensions<\/a>. The project will allow for managing BOSH and Cloud Foundry deployments right from a Kubernetes control plane cluster.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;You&#8217;ve got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altoros.com\/blog\/cloud-foundry-advisory-board-meeting-apr-2019-eirini-readiness\/\">Eirini<\/a>, which is let&#8217;s run Cloud Foundry applications on Kubernetes. You&#8217;ve got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altoros.com\/blog\/cloud-foundry-advisory-board-meeting-jan-2020-kubecf-demo\/\">KubeCF<\/a>, which is let&#8217;s take existing BOSH releases and run those on top of Kubernetes for the purpose of running Cloud Foundry on top of Kubernetes. You&#8217;ve also got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altoros.com\/blog\/cloud-foundry-advisory-board-meeting-mar-2020-cf4k8s-demo\/\">cf-for-k8s<\/a>, which is let&#8217;s pick up the application bits and put those on Kubernetes. Gluon is the opposite approach. They are also exploring initial CRD representations of the Eirini API.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 6px;\">The Networking team is nearly done with Route CRD. They are also incorporating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altoros.com\/blog\/cloud-foundry-advisory-board-meeting-aug-2018-istio-and-eirini\/\">Istio<\/a> v1.6.<\/li>\n<li>The Logging and Metrics teams are working to resolve scaling issues with log cache ingest.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><small><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/cloudfoundry\/pmc-notes\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Runtime PMC\u2019s GitHub repo<\/a><\/small><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_summit_is_in_a_week\"><\/span>The summit is in a week!<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Chris Clark reminded that Cloud Foundry Summit North America is just a week away and will be held on June 24\u201325. With the current coronavirus pandemic, the conference will be virtual as previously announced.
