In the video below, she is talking about the success of <a href=\"https:\/\/likefolio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LikeFolio<\/a>\u2014a web project that assists online investors by analyzing social media data.<\/p>\n<p>Altoros was proud to help SwanPowers, a partner of TD Ameritrade, to build this application, which is based on the \u201cinvest in what you know\u201d concept. The system aggregates conversations, status updates, likes, and check-ins from social networks and translates this data into investment ideas, using the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Initial_public_offering\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">initial public offering<\/a> (IPO) information.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.altoros.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/likefolio-redis-amazon-ruby-altoros.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altoros.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/likefolio-redis-amazon-ruby-altoros.png\" alt=\"likefolio-redis-amazon-ruby-altoros\" width=\"640\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-50464\" \/><\/a><small>The LikeFolio&#8217;s dashboard<\/small><\/center><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_scalable_architecture_based_on_Redis\"><\/span>A scalable architecture based on Redis<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>LikeFolio was written with Ruby and features a distributed, scalable architecture able to serve 10,000+ users simultaneously.
