According to her, it comprises two subfields of artificial intelligence. Implying \u201cteaching through rewards,\u201d  <em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Reinforcement_learning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reinforcement learning<\/a><\/em> is responsible for decision making, while <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.altoros.com\/blog\/deep-learning-in-healthcare-finance-and-iiot-tensorflow-use-cases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">deep learning<\/a><\/em> is based on a combination of mathematical possibilities.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201dArtificial intelligence uses the advantages of both the reward method and computational power maths gives you.\u201d \u2014Gema Piqueras, Tetuan Valley<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Gema also introduced the audience to the concept of an <em>artificial neuron<\/em>, which is an input with an assigned <em>transfer<\/em> function to it.
